my origins

Gen Drop Art didn’t start in a studio. It started with a duffel bag, a one-way ticket to Colorado, and an invitation I didn’t fully understand yet.

I didn’t have a plan.. just a pull.

A quiet knowing that if I didn’t go, I’d leave something unfinished inside myself.

The universe knew before I did that I needed to create.

That trip cracked something open.

Art stopped being a choice and became a necessity. Every piece I make is an extension of who I am.. my memories, my chaos, my clarity, my questions.

I don’t separate the work from the person behind it, because they’re the same thing.

When I came back to New York, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. There was no more searching, no more hesitation. Gen Drop Art became the outlet.. the place where everything I felt, everything I carried, finally had somewhere to go.

It exists because I listened.

A jaw dropping piece of custom artwork is what I received from Hunter. I commissioned a custom piece for my husband (to protect his privacy, I can’t share it), and I sent Hunter the elements I wanted to include in the piece. I was shocked and surprised when the piece he gave me was perfect from the start. I did ask to make minor changes, but we were done quickly with a piece I hoped my husband would like. I got the opportunity to present it to him in front of many people, and we got compliments from everyone who saw it. Hunter captured the depth I wanted while incorporating all of the elements I needed into this beautiful piece. I’m already planning my next project!! If you want to get a meaningful gift for someone who is hard to shop for, this is the one. My husband loves it and wants to move it from his desk to the wall!

Hunter's work truly speaks for itself. I met him at a grand opening where his work was showcased and I was surprised to see how humble he was while being surrounded by such vibrant pieces of art. Case feels durable and easy to put on. Has built in MagSafe for charging too (surprising plus). Got it from the GenDropArt Etsy shop. Shipping took <3-4 days. Went for the matte color to tamp down on fingerprints and it really doesn’t show. Cool design. Happy with every bit.

Hunter is a very unique artist I followed him on social media for a while became friendly with him and then one day he created a piece of art that sparked interest of my daughter there's so much value in his art and what it inspires in people and the moment my little girl was inspired well I made that purchase we are so happy to hang it on the wall of our home and have a piece of hunters mind inspiring Our Lives

I truly am in awe of Hunter’s gift for art. My favorite piece was done originally in a different medium. It’s very reminiscent of Picasso.  He’s so prolific and expressive.  I can’t just have one piece that’s my favorite. I love them all! They keep me looking every time I pass one.
